Witchblade Yancy Butler, cable’s top-tier wonder
woman, returns to the screen as crime-fighting Sara Pezzini in a special
two-hour season premiere of WITCHBLADE, airing on Father’s Day,
Sunday, June 16 (8 – 10 p.m. ET/PT), featuring the television acting
debut of her father, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joe Butler (The Lovin’
Spoonful). WITCHBLADE will air in its regular time slot, Mondays at 9
p.m. ET/PT, beginning Monday, June 17. WITCHBLADE is produced by Top Cow
Productions, Inc. and Halsted Pictures in association with Warner Bros.

Season Two Episode Guide Episode - "Emergence" - Airs Sunday, June 16th, 2002 - In the special two-hour season premiere, rocker Joe Butler portrays Arnold Buck, an ex-cop whose runaway teenage daughter, Debbie, has become a stripper on an adult Web site. After Debbie’s boss is murdered live on the Internet, Arnold is fingered as a suspect. New York detective Sara Pezzini (Yancy Butler) pays Arnold a visit to investigate.
Episode 226-110: "Convergence" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001 - Pez is investigating a crime surrounding the missing daughter of a congressman and is thrown for a loop when she finds herself in the middle of a deal being brokered by a band of crooked cops who know she is on to them. Pez is astonished when the Witchblade reveals clues that suggest Jake may be on the dark side. Keir Dullea guest stars as Dr. Immo in "Convergence." Episode 226-109: "Apprehension" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, August 7, 2001 - Sara is immersed in an investigation surrounding the murder of a pimp when a mysterious package is delivered to her. Her world begins to unravel when clues suggest the enemy may not be who she thought. The only thing she can trust now is the knowing eye of the Witchblade Episode 226-108: "Thantopsis" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, July 31, 2001 - Jake and Sara tail an arms dealer, but their surveillance takes a starling turn when their suspect is shot. Evidence left behind links the shocking crime to Irons (Anthony Cistaro) and to Sara. Episode 226-107: "Periculum" – Episode to Air Tuesday, July 24, 2001 - Sara is subjected to the ultimate Witchblade trial. Will she be accepted as a true-wielder, or will she pay the ultimate price? Jake is propositioned by the fearless leader of the precinct (Nestor Serrano) when he is asked to join the underground brotherhood of vigilante officers who use their own methods to exact justice. Episode 226-106: "Maelstrom" – Episode Air on Tuesday, July 17, 2001 -Conchobar (Kim De Lury) is abducted by Irish militants, and Sara will do anything to save him, even if it means compromising the powers of the Witchblade. Episode 226-105: "Legion" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 - Roger Daltrey guest stars as a Catholic priest who gets caught in the crossfire of controversy alleging the Vatican and the Nazis might have been allies during WWII on WITCHBLADE. Pez and Jake are on the case. Episode 226-104: "Sacrifice" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, July 3, 2001 -Sara’s latest investigation draws her into the underground music scene, where a handsome alternative rocker (Kim De Lury) may be the leader in a Celtic sacrificial rites homicide case. The Witchblade uncovers clues that suggest this frontman might have been a medieval Celtic bard who was Sara’s lover in another lifetime. Will the allegations accusing him as a possible murder suspect keep Sara away from her chosen destiny to be with the only true love she has ever known? Episode 226-103: "Diplopia" – Episode to Air on Tuesday, June 26, 2001 - Sara and Jake investigate the murder of a prominent Soho art dealer whose killer may be connected to the myth of the Witchblade. Sara struggles to bridge the gap between her job as a detective and her responsibility to the gauntlet when the Witchblade takes on a new form. Episode 226-102: "Conundrum" - Episode To Air Tuesday, June 19, 2001 – Sara and Jake are drawn into the exotic world of high fashion by the grisly death of a stunning young model. While on the hunt for the killer, Sara gets a premonition about her past that goes back decades after she encounters the roommate of the slain model who was brought in for questioning. Jake is propositioned by an alluring young woman who may give him more than he expects. Episode 226-101: "Parallax" – Premieres June 12, 2001 -While learning to adapt to the powers of the Witchblade and her new companion and partner, Jake McCarty (David Chokachi), Sara Pezzini (Yancy Butler) finds her career on the force is threatened after she is questioned in a hostile meeting with the police review board for her alleged role in a murder case. Her long-time mentor on the force and friend of her father, who was killed in the line of duty, announces his retirement -- and something about his replacement is giving Pezzini a negative vibe. Pezzini and partner McCarty get a lead that suggests an ex-Special Forces soldier is out to kill Kenneth Irons (Anthony Cistaro), the man who may be her worst enemy and her most treasured ally. She must do what she can to save him; he’s her only hope at getting closer to clues that will reveal her past and lead her closer to understanding her parantage to the Witchblade. The Witchblade: The Movie (2 hours) Premieres August 27, 2000- WITCHBLADE is the mesmerizing story of a New York detective, Sara Pezzini (Butler), whose search for justice brings her into contact with an ancient, intelligent, living weapon so powerful it can battle Earth?s darkest evil forces. Chokachi will portray fellow detective Jake McCartey, a laid back surfer who has transferred from California. Cistaro will star as Kenneth Irons, a billionaire obsessed with possessing the Witchblade and Etebari will star as Ian Nottingham, Iron's enigmatic henchman. Lee will star as Pezzini?s partner Danny Woo.
