Collision Earth premiering
Saturday, January 14 at 9PM (ET/PT), a solar flare knocks Mercury out of its
orbit and onto a collision course with Earth. With global devastation quickly
approaching, the secret military initiative, “Project 7,” must be activated to
save the world from disaster. The movie is a production of Cinetel Films.
Swamp Volcano
premiering Saturday, January 28 at 9PM (ET/PT), oil rig drillers in the Gulf
of Mexico accidentally hit an underground lava flow, causing a massive volcano
to form in Miami. Now a volcanologist and her sister attempt to blow the
whistle on an illegal oil drilling scheme before it sets off the eruption that
will destroy civilization. Swamp Volcano is a production of Bullet Films.
Dallas in Production!
Summer 2012 will be
smoking hot when Dallas comes back to TV! With part of the original
cast and a fresh crop of new stars to play the next generation of Ewings.
TNT
began production last week on the first season of the eagerly anticipated
new series DALLAS. Stars Larry Hagman and Josh Henderson
took a minute on set to give you a sneak peek into what life is like back
on Southfork Ranch.
Larry Hagman returns as J.R. Ewing, whose plots and schemes over the years
have threatened to destroy his entire family. Josh Henderson (Desperate
Housewives) stars as J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing’s son, John Ross, who is
determined to undermine his grandmother’s legacy by drilling for
oil on Ewing
land.
Shot on location in the title city, Dallas comes to TNT from Warner
Horizon Television, with pilot writer Cynthia Cidre and
Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers. TNT’s Dallas is based
upon the series created by David Jacobs.
Halloween NICK style Nickelodeon counts down to Halloween with “10 Nights of Fright,” featuring
holiday-themed programming across all of its networks. The shrieks and
shrills begin with an all-new SpongeBob SquarePants “Ghoul Fools”
premiering Friday, Oct. 21, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
Wake up howling on Saturday,
Oct. 22, to the premiere of Fanboy and Chum Chum “There Will Be Shrieks”
at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT). The non-stop screams continue into the night with
the world scream-iere of the brand-new TV movie, Fred 2: Night of the
Living Fred at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). In addition, the Nickelodeon classic Are
You Afraid of the Dark? makes its way to TeenNick on Friday, Oct. 28, at
10:00 p.m. (ET).
Halloween-themed programming continues on Saturday, Oct. 29, with haunted
premieres of Power Rangers Samurai “Party Monsters” at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT)
and a brand-new episode of Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures “Epic
Haunting” at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT). On Sunday, Oct. 30, Nickelodeon will
premiere the animated movie Monster High: Fright On! at 1:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
Nick Preschool treats tots to three new Halloween-themed premieres on
Monday, Oct. 24, beginning with Dora the Explorer “Halloween Parade” at
9:30 a.m. (ET), Bubble Guppies “Haunted House Party” at 11:00 a.m. (ET)
and Fresh Beat Band “Ghost Band” at 1:30 p.m. (ET).
Nick at Nite will feature family favorites full of spine-chilling terror
and laughs with holiday-themed episodes of Everybody Hates Chris, Family
Matters, Friends, George Lopez, Home Improvement and That 70’s Show from
Saturday, Oct. 29 – Monday, Oct. 31.
SYFY does 31 Days of Halloween Syfy
will celebrate Halloween with its fourth annual 31 Days of Halloween
fright fest showcasing more than 600 hours of holiday- themed programming,

Documentary
HBO debuts Martin Scorsese’s major new film documentary “George Harrison:
Living in the Material World.” Which premieres tonight in two parts
- Oct 5 & 6, 2011
And it turns
out, HBO also has made it a huge night for Rolling Stone Magazine’s first
chief photographer, Baron Wolman. HBO isolated one photograph that the network
felt captured the essence of the film – it was taken in 1968 by Wolman – to
promote the online trailer, as you can see below. The photo captures Harrison
on a couch at Apple Corps relaxing while reading Bob Dylan’s book Don’t Look
Back.

Spike
TV will say goodbye to the “Harry Potter” films as it presents the
ultimate farewell tribute to the blockbuster franchise at its “SCREAM
Awards 2011.”
The sixth annual event, which honors all things sci-fi,
fantasy, horror and comic books, will tape at Universal Studios
on Saturday, October 15, and premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 18
(9:00 – 11:00 PM, ET/PT).
