Ten years after the events of THE PHANTOM MENACE, not only has the

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman) and
Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) as they are thrown together
again for the first time since the Trade Federation invasion of
Naboo. Anakin has grown into the accomplished Jedi apprentice of
Obi-Wan, who himself has transitioned from student to teacher. The
two Jedi are assigned to protect Padmé whose life is threatened by
a faction of political separatists. As relationships form and
powerful forces collide, these heroes face choices that will impact
not only their own fates, but the destiny of the Republic.

PLANO, Texas, May 2 -- To launch Frito-Lay's "Find The Hero Inside" program tied to Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, actor Anthony Daniels (C-3PO in the Star Wars films) and the Afterschool Alliance, a national organization dedicated to after-school programs, have joined forces to talk to children about the importance of finding the hero inside themselves. The program will kick off at 9:15 a.m. CT, Thursday, May 2 at Elder Diggs Elementary School in Indianapolis.
To launch the program, Frito-Lay will host the "Find the Hero Inside Jedi Training Academy" at Elder Diggs Elementary School. This interactive event will feature Anthony Daniels and a trained Jedi Master working with children to unlock the Jedi Knight inside each of them. After these young Jedi hopefuls are shown the basics of using a lightsaber, they will test their skills against a surprise guest, Darth Vader. The "Jedi Training Academy" will also be featured at Star Wars Celebration II, the largest Stars Wars event surrounding the release of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, May 3-5 at the Indiana Convention Center.
PORTLAND, Ore, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Ever wonder what would compel someone to wait in line outside a movie theatre for 136 days? IndieDVD's "Starwoids" -- available now in video stores -- will tell you why.
"Starwoids," or Star War fans, are camping outside theatres in Seattle and LA in an attempt to be the first in line for "Star Wars: Episode II -- Attack of the Clones" opening May 16th. Two fans in Seattle are in the home stretch to break the world record for the most time spent waiting in a line.
Directed by Dennis Przywara and best documentary winner of the No Dance Film Festival, "Starwoids" documents the frenzy around the lines that formed at L.A.'s Mann's Village and Chinese theatres for 1999's "The Phantom Menace."
