EWAN MCGREGOR FEATURED IN GQ
With
four films slated in 2012, it's looking like the Year of Ewan McGregor. GQ
chatted with impossibly likable star of Haywire about fatherhood, fantasies, and
the next twelve months.
"I never feel battered by it," he says. "I wouldn't have it
any other way." But if he were to walk away from movie making, what would he do?
"I like the idea of being a sculptor. Just me alone, making something—that
solitary existence." At last, the buried wish for a respite from life's mayhem!
But no: "And then you come out," he adds, "and you're back into the house with
all the kids. That would be perfect."

Hudson graces Good Housekeeping
The
February cover, on newsstands January 10, and in the interview, the singer,
actress, and now author, reveals the secrets to her 80-pound weight loss, talks
about how her family got her through her toughest moments, and opens up about
her fiancé and son.
On her former size: “Early on, I remember one of the musical directors telling
me that everything about me was too big,” she says. “My voice, my size, and my
personality.” Defiant, Hudson asked her, “Isn’t that what being a star is? Stars
are larger than life!”
On cravings: “I’ll find a calm, peaceful moment, and I’ll sit back and eat my
chocolate, which I make sure is really good quality, too,” she says. “Quality
over quantity!”
