The "V" App
The Visitors are among us … and now the master manipulators are also inside your iPhone. Fans of Warner Bros. Television’s “V” can transform themselves into V’s by downloading the show’s new iPhone App from iTunes in advance of the show’s spring premiere Tuesday, March 30 (10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.

The new “V” iPhone App allows users to create and share photos inspired by the series. Choosing from a collection of “V”-themed backdrops and overlays, fans can manipulate existing photos or take new ones within the App to reveal their reptilian selves, add one of the motherships into a personal pic or make it appear as if they are delivering an address to an entire city (just like Anna addressing the world). Users can merge their photos with “V”-themed content using appropriate scaling, positioning and resizing via the intuitive user interface. After completing an image, these new V’s can share their photos and passion for “V” with friends through Facebook and Twitter.

On March 30, the “V” story continues with the ‘Welcome to the War’ episode. Erica (series star Elizabeth Mitchell) finds her life in danger when she’s attacked at home, and, as the Visitors build up their defenses, a dangerous new member is recruited for the Resistance. Rare Batman Comic For Sale
This rare copy of the first Batman comic book, readying for auction at Heritage Auction galleries in Dallas has far surpassed the previous comic books record price, $317,000, paid for a first Superman comic in 2009, and the bidding is still underway with Batman already at $418,250.

Super heroes and pop culture fans will learn the final, new record price when the auction ends on Feb. 25.

Marilyn's new Cabernet
A new vintage of The Velvet Collection has been released, and is sure to tempt fans of Marilyn Monroe with a stunning image that was once cast aside. Among the scintillating “Red Velvet” series of nude photo portraits of Marilyn Monroe taken by Hollywood photographer Tom Kelley, Sr. in 1949 was a double exposure.
