That same accident granted him exceptionally advanced senses and learns that he can "see" by vibrations made by sound - he can even hear a man's heart beating. Matt also possesses an extraordinary senses of touch and smell. Growing into a young man, Murdock becomes a lawyer but at night he is a vigilante calling Daredevil.
It's not until he meet a woman named Elektra which brings love into his heart again. But it's when a new King-Pin wants to take over the business when tragedy strikes Daredevil a second time.
Daredevil
background: Daredevil
was created by Stan Lee
in 1964 following the success of his other creations: namely Spider-Man,
Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, X-Men and Avengers.
This time around, however, the man in the costume would be physically
handicapped: Daredevil is blind.
Like most of Lee's best creations, Daredevil lives in the real world, and
it doesn't get any more real than New York City's infamous Hell's Kitchen.
In 1964, this neighborhood had a reputation for being especially tough, and
hence, it was the perfect place for Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) to make his law
practice (by day) and war on crime (by night).
